BBVA-How many cards?

I have a BBVA Clearpoints card already and got a preapproval for the same card yesterday.  Was that a mistake?  I know some companies will do several cards alike but didn't know about BBVA.

Actually a BBBBVVAA

OP, you can have two. Many people have done that in order to get TWO of the three percent categories!

Well that changed quickly.  I can't get it now and I was looking forward to another 3% category.

I've seen that message before. I don't remember the wait time between apps.

It's only been a couple months.  I just got the $100 bonus on that one. That's why I was so surprised to see the offer.
