I was curious about Bank of America as I'll be making a move across the country soon and they have a branch in walking distance from me. Currently my checking accounts are through M&T bank which are pretty east coast local. Anyway do you need to have a relationship with BOA to get their credit cards or can anyone apply? I probably wouldn't be applying until late spring but just wanted to know what their rules are. The cash reward card specifically seems nice and I wouldn't mind potentially opening a checking with them as well (I'm a big fan of how chase checking can directly pay credit cards without delaying)
