Bank of America CLI Declined for to many inquiries

Hi, 

I wanted to check with others to see what your experience has been with CLI requests that have been declined for to many inquries?
I received a CLI in December, and since my credit bureau they pulled has only had 1 additional inq. They approved a 50% increase to my CL in December so I am a little curious why 2 inquries would really push them to decline... 

Wanted to see how many inquries you all had in the past 6 months and still got approved for a CLI with them.

What did the denial letter specifically state as the actual written reason?

Was it... "There are too many inquiries on your credit file"?  or "Too many recent requests for ..."  There is a difference.
