Received this email today. On a rebuilding mission and have been hoping for one since opening my account with them a few months back. I don't want a HP if it's not a decent chance for approval. Is this a legit or just normal BOA spam?
Marketing got same offer today. It isn't a pre-approval or anything of the sorts. Sure if you credit merits it you could get approved, but nothing more than mass marketing
I'm inclined to think is just on offer to apply. Not really a preapproval. You may want to consider throwing out some stats here so people can guide you on what your chances could be. Remember, a hp isn't the end of the world. We all take them on occasion to build our profiles. You just don't want to go all in hog wild, especially in a rebuilding stage. Good luck to you.

This.
BoA only makes preapproval offers as one of the types of offers sent to existing clients through their online Activity Center. Anything sent through mail/email or generated through their online 30 second check for personalized offers are only offers to apply and the related offer codes are used by their marketing team to help evaluate the performance of their marketing efforts.
Just over a year ago BoA let me back in without any offers or preapprovals. I just applied. $11K SCL.
@bl4ckllama I got this too and I already have a ton of BOA credit.
I was hoping it was a pre approval, but sadly.. i dont think it is and also their little tool online is basically useless.
