Lesson learned, I would give barclays 6 months of on-time payment history before hitting them up again. In 6 months, call the number on the back of your card and ask if they could lower your APR. Then while talking to that specialist, ask if there are any offers for a soft pull credit limit increase.
I would think your chances would be good if you keep inquiries and balances low while paying on-time.

+1
i called them yesterday for an apr reduction which they did, and then asked if i had any cli offers , she advised yes and gave me 1.5K increase with a soft pull as well as
0% apr till january. in the future try this method , as a sp is better than a hard pull , if u use the cli button with barclays is always a hard pull.
Good info, Ive had mine about 6 month with a starting line of 2,000 and I use it quite a bit but have never asked for a cli and wondered how long I should wait. I have too many inquiries now and can't afford anymore since we are going to put our home on the market in sept and plan on buying another. I'm trying to stay in the garden until we sale our home.
