Barclay recon help

So applied for Barclay Ring to do some BT because interest on some cards is killing me

So it did get denied. Called the 24/7 underwriter and she was super nice! However she said Chase accounts is too new and balances on some cards are high which are the ones im trying to BT over because of the interest. So was wondering is there anyway to convince them? She did say im doing good on having no late payments and everything.

I've honestly never had luck with Barclays recon ever but you can always try again a few more times to see what happens depending on whether you get someone else to look at your file.

Are there any other BT cards you're considering?

Not completely i mean i guess i could move more limits for my slate card, but it does already have a balance on it.

Maybe you could look into DCU's Platinum Visa. No BT fees on that one. Warning though. HP for the membership and a HP for the card app.

tell them you plan to pay well over the min. and that the new accts are to help get rid of those balances. and you would like a chance with them, since it will also be a primary card. specially that you wouldbe able to donate some of the rewards to charity.

I will try that, but it doesnt have rewards, its the ring.

Well tried recon again and got a nice gentleman but it was too funny i couldn't take him seriously because of his deep voice and accent. It was hard not to laugh when he said the denial reasons. They did say that my 15k of debt is too high for them approve maybe i will try again but not sure how to approach this. I understand its high.
