Keep in mind at time of applying I did have some baddies and barely any balances like $200ish in balances.. Ring takes balances partially into consideration approval amount.. Was kinda disappointed, but also have alot bigger CL on my Sallie Mae and applied for it 2 months after SM, thus kinda probably the low SL/CL.  I might take a HP to try to get it to 10k at the end of the year at that time it will be 8 months old.  Barclay's isnt really known for HUGE CL's iniitially, but grow over time, obviously with some exceptions

I think the reason you're not getting many responses is maybe because this wasn't the best place for your question. Perhaps ask a mod to move this thread to credit card applications?

I apped for the second time last week and was denied. Recon failed... no stats necessary. They specifically told me I was denied due to high utilization on my Discover and Chase Amazon Rewards. Just bad timing... today was hubby's payday and was PIFing those cards today.

had to recon  (2010 13k tax lien)

edit: previous poster has brought up a great point...   my utilization was less than 9% on 1 card at the time and 0 on the rest (perfect)

CL upon approval: 5K (Called instantly and got bumped to 8.5K)
Income (no need to be specific): 30K~

No baddies/lates

Hope this helps. If you get approved make sure to call and ask for more. It can't hurt but it can help. Be prepared to answer a few questions (like what you want the higher amount for).

Thanks all but DM was denied for this card BUTT got an arrival+ with the same pull so it all worked out!
