Just received a pre-approval for this card.
2% unlimited cashback, and 200 cash back when you spend 1,500 in the first 90 days.
What is this card? Is it Amex? I already have an Amex cashback card, plus the usual cc's with rotating categories that give more.
Also have a Wells Fargo card that gives me unlimited 2% cashback.
Is this one worth getting? Anything interesting about it. Also, how does it work? Is it really an Amex card or....?
Thanks for any info.
It uses the Amex payment network but it's not issued by Amex. It's issued by Bread Financial/Comenity. Since you already have a WF Active Cash, this card would be redundant (unless you just wanted to the sign up bonus).
Definitely not a real Amex and like the poster said above, it would be redundant with your WF card.
Anything issued by Comenity is a huge no for me anyway.
Thanks.
It's on the Amex network but not issued by Amex. It's a good card though! Those rewards are pretty elite.
It doesn't seem to offer anything I don't already have though.
Was considering it just for the 200 offer but the above poster said it's issued by Comenity bank, and that's a red flag for me.
