If you aren't able to pay off the balances on your existing cards, I never recommend taking on additional lines of credit. It's just not a financially sound move, IMO. While you may be able to get approved for additional cards, including the one you're after, the question is why do you need it right now, especially if you can't pay off your existing balances tomorrow? That's my conservative viewpoint/response, which I know won't agree with everyone.
@My_Fakowrote:
Because of the balances on the chase cards. I also won't be able to pay them off for awhile...
Also... they already gave me $38.6k in credit. With my income only 88k not sure if I might hit my cap with them.
I gotcha, I've thought several times I was maxed out. Only to find out I wasn't. lol
I'll let BBS be the angel on your shoulder. I'm the 😈 on the other. lol
My stated household income isn't much more than yours. Amex has given me a little over $76k in trade lines. Now let that sink in. lol
