Amex won't SP you the moment you request a CLI. They'll use their most recent SP they have of you in order to see if you qualify. You can request increases every 181 days. And your request should be fine. I'd even say to just go for the nice round $25k, as that is the "magic number" everyone always says is the point where Amex will increase your credit to without income verification.
+1
They will use the most recent SP they have on file.
I also agree on the nice round $25k..Heck, go for the full 3x if you don't mind going through the verification process!

I just went through an FR with them last week. Which I passed with flying colors. They wanted my tax info for 2014. I charged about 20k on my Amex green in a month which I have paid off. Do you think I should go for the 3x?
If you've already went through their FR recently and passed with flying colors, I would absolutely go for the 3x CLI now. Don't worry about going over 25k cause you've already been reviewed. Go for the whole 3x.
OP definitely go for 3x or a round number like 50K. You went through the FR so the worst that can happen is a counter-offer that should still be higher than 24.5K.
P.S. I got 30K without a FR so the 25K is a YMMV situation - as discussed on other posts.
Best of luck to you and keep us posted!

Thanks for the response. Do you know the frequency of their SP?
Noone really knows when they do them, pretty random. Some people get them monthly some every few months. If they have any doubts they will SP to check up on you other than that they leave you alone.
