Patience certainly is important here. Haven't applied for a cc in like 5 years now. The last late mark on credit report is 3 years old so I may give it a go here.
This is the month to give it a go. I essentially have 4 choices.
Shoud I apply to all 4 on the same day?
Should I just apply to what I think would be the easiest, like Capital One, but likely with a low SL?

- Wells Fargo (where I bank)
- Capital One (where I have auto loan)
- Citibank
- Coastal Credit Union (where I bank)
Which specific CCs from each of these lenders are you targeting? I believe your op didn't mention what goals you had in mind as far as CCs and whether the latter was for intro 0% promotions or BTs, cashback, SUBs, etc.
Just keep in mind that having an auto loan with Capital One will not influence any CC lending decisions.
I am likely looking for a card for cash back. No need to BT and don't carry a balance.
So specifically...
Wells Fargo Active Cash
Coastal Credit Rewards Visa
Capital One SavorOne Rewards
Citibank Custom Cash
