Chase 5/24

I have Amex Platinum, Gold and BCP cards with excellent credit; no dings.

I just fell under the 5/24 radar as I December 30, 2021. I'm 4/24 now and drop down to 2/24 in April this year.

I have checking and investment accounts with Chase too. I opened them up last summer when I read that this increases my odds.

How long do I have to wait to apply for the CSR or CSP to maximize my approval odds?

Thanks in advance to you all.

How long ago were you approved for your last card?

How long ago were you approved for your last Chase card?

Did you ever hold a CSP or CSR, and if so when were you approved?

No reason to wait.

Re: Chase 5/24

Having checking/savings accounts with Chase won't have any bearing unless you're a serious high roller (as in 7+ figures).

Anyway if you're under 5/24 with no dings, excellent credit and other good cards, you should be pretty solid as long as you don't have excessive inquiries and utilization is low (<30%, but ideally <10%).

Re: Chase 5/24

If you fell off the 5/24 radar on 12/31, you should be ok to go.  Personally, Id wait until Feb 2 or after to apply, to make sure all Credit agencies are up to date.  Just keep in mind that Chase can also deny you for other things besides 5/24, they also look at how many inquiries were recent and what your DTI ratio is.  FYI, if you need to call recon, the lines have been long lately.

If it were me, I would go ahead and apply on Feb 1st.
