Chase CoBrand VS Core Cards

Does anyone know what Chase's stance is on their co-branded cards vs their core cards? Are their co-branded card requirements slightly more lenient than their core cards?

Re: Chase CoBrand VS Core Cards

I got the Chase Amazon Visa while being over the 5/24.

Others here have as well.

Re: Chase CoBrand VS Core Cards

They have been more lenient on their co branded cards such as the Amazon, United, Southwest, and even some Marriott cards.

It really depends on your overall profile. While some folks have experienced success, even if 5/24 with some partner cards, that's not to say it's worked for everyone. Plenty of denials have also been reported for those who tried it for science. Again, it's all profile-specific.

Conversely, we have also seen some individuals get approved for Chase core cards and then get declined for a partner card. Of course, the chances for an approval tends to diminish in a variety of cases if one is 5/24 (or greater).
