Got a little cocky after the Barclay Rewards and app'd for Barclay Apple.  I've been thinking about getting a new computer for school but still undecided.  Approved for $3000!!!

I am sorry to hear that. The Chase Pre Qual site is usually golden. I would do another recon, and explain that would not have applied without being pre approved. Maybe also say, that you will be making some big payments to get the utilization down. This happened to me after being pre approved at Barclays, I know how you feel.

Called for recon today. They asked a few questions and said I've been doing a good job at managing my credit since my last baddie a few years ago. Raised my Barclay Rewards to $2500. Total available credit now from Barclay is $5500!!!
