So after getting approved for the AMEX Gold, I decided to apply for the Chase FU, but got the 30 day notice. I called in today to find out that my application has gotten changed to 7-10 notice, so either I was denied or needed more verification.
Fortunately they just need me to verify my address, and due to the coronavirus I am outside the US and mailing really isn't an option for me so I am now faxing my documents to in to Chase. So my question is, is there any good way to go about with this? The rep wants me to also include my application reference number in aswell, so can i just type this onto a blank document to include with the fax as I plan to fax a recent bank statement and my drivers license that includes my address.
That should be good enough? .. check back with them after you have sent all that in.
Give it a few days though.
So I can just write my reference number of the application on a blank word document, and PDF it with my other documents and fax it off and that'll be okay?
As Smart said, it should be okay. I don't see why not. After you fax the information I would give them a call to let them know that you did send it and you put your account # on there. If skeptical, give them a call beforehand and ask if doing so will be accepted.
I did send in the documents and was informed to call back in a few days once they receive the documents. Back to playing the waiting game that'll hopefully turn out right in the end..

Yeah, just include it on the cover sheet. Good luck!
Best wishes, to maybe help you feel a bit less anxious i just got approved for the Freedom last week for $22.5K..
Best part, i apped at like 670 scores and 40% utilization😂
@elixerin
Congrats on the approval for 22k.. I'll be grateful if they even give me $500. I've been trying to enter the chase ecosystem for a while hahaha. Good news tho (I assume based on previous threads), I guess my documents were received by chase and my application turned back into reviewing will take up to 30 days as opposed to 7-10 days. AFAIK, 7-10 days means either verification or denial, and 2 weeks to 30 days means pretty good odds right? I'm just wondering now how much longer should I wait before I call the recon line since I literally just submitted the documents on Tuesday..
I'm also currently in the 30 day boat, I guess they're a little backed up with applications. I was approved the same day after verification for my CSP but I've been getting the 30 day message for 3 days on the automated line for this application. No verification needed yet here so fingers crossed for both of us!

That should be sufficient. Let us know how it goes!
