I was refreshing my wife's Credit Karma reports as they updated today. I checked for pre-qualified offers as usual and got a pop up for Chase Freedom and Slate. I didn't trust it AT ALL. I had just submitted an App on Monday for the Disney Premier card as her EXP score went up to 683 and she got the 7-10 day message(been calling robo lady and still get the same message). Anyway, I went to Chase's sight to confirm their pre-qual and got the same offers. Both had a fixed APR of 23%. I chose the Freedom offer and completed the App. DOH! No instant approval. Does this look like a denial AFTER getting a pre-qual?

Just to close the loop on this...got the denial letter in the mail for Disney Premier. Says they pulled TU and their "internal score" was 50 points lower than her TU Fico. Out of curiousity, I called Robo lady and she said the Freedom was approved for $1k. Huh? Why would they decline a cobranded card and approve the Freedom? I'm confused...
