The CSR looks better than the CSP. It has all the same benefits and more. Better earnings, better perks. The only downside I see right now is the additional cost of an authorized user. Charts below highlight some quick math. I'm thinking of cancelling CSP and using CSR full time. Thoughts?
Side thought: which bureaus does Chase like to hit on HPs?

Well I'm wanting much higher than $10k since this app is also serving a dual purpose of pseudo cli for my other cards. 😆I hope when posting approvals they will include their interest rate. I just received a notice on my Freedom that they are raising me up 3.5% to 23%. Chase branded is socked drawer material.
Heyyyy Barry!! I totally agree with you! Chase has some ridiculous aprs.
If they will approve me with as many accounts that I have opened in last two years they can give me a 45% APR and I wouldn't care. This card with its rewards is not one to be carrying valances on in the first place. There are plenty of other cards that you can use for that purpose if needed. The CSR is a high end travel card and paying any interest on it defeats the rewards. Don't do it.
Valid points. What are some of your favorite cards to carry a balance on? Not to derail from the topic. Maybe PM me.
Thanks for the charts. If I get the CSR, I will be closing my CSP. No need to carry both. As for what bureaus Chase pulls it really varies on where you live so you might want to check the credit boards database. You can almost be assured that they will pull EX but they often double pull depending individuals and location.

Cards that have low APRs and there are quite a few of them out there (look under the sticky in credit cards for helpful threads and look at the thread by themanwhocan. He has various credit card charts and one of them is about cards with low interest) or better yet cards that offer 0% for 18-21 months or run balance transfer offers that offer the same. It just doesn't make sense to eat up travel rewards by carrying balances on those cards. Completely defeats the purpose of the card.

You're welcome. I'm in IL. I don't mind them pulling EX. I don't want to pull EQ though since I have some items that fall off the end of this year. Think I could freeze EQ in case they try to pull it on app and still get approved with only EX / TU available for them?

It's hard to know with Chase but if you think your EQ will be a problem then you might want to consider doing what you are talking about but that's a taboo subject on MF so that's all I can say. I looked at the credit boards database and it looks like for IL residents they double pull EX and TU so you might be ok anyways.
