Citi CLI declined

I just received a secure message from CITI regarding my CLI:

How we made our decision

Your request was processed by a credit scoring system that assigned a numerical value to various items on your account(s) with us and your credit report. The information didn’t score a sufficient number of points for approval. We’ve denied your request for an increase due to the following reason(s):

• Ÿ  You have paid a low portion of your lifetime charges on one or more of your accounts with us.

• Ÿ  Your credit report shows your balances on your revolving accounts are too high in relation to those credit lines.

I believe this is based on old information and I didnt give it any time for the CB and CL to update.

Did you burn them in the past or something?  I find this reason above a bit curious.

i have given up on Citi and CLI.  I have had my double cash card for over a year, only 1 cli, my scores are in my sig.

No, I have never had a CITI card before and never burned them

Sorry to hear that it sucks I am also at a 500$ limit and Citi won't budge on it until 6 months old I think I got my last collection account removed from my report so hopefully they might approve it after my next statement closes with will be my 4th month but best of luck to you hope Citi gives you some love.
