So I applied for the Costco card on 11/22/16 and was declined due to too many inquires. Many of which were due to fraud that I could not get off until I got some help from this forum. At the time of applying I thought they were all removed. I was wrong by 1 day. I called to recon the app on 11/30 and was told they could use that same report if in fact there was different information I would have to reapply which I did while still on the phone with the Rep. That app was declined for having submitted an app within 60days. They Rep was supper nice and understood where I was coming from and confirmed there was a significant drop in inquires. He put in a request to cancel my first app (which was approved a few days later via email). Today 11/13 I received a letter from the office of the president asking for me to give them a call to reconsider my application. I called and left a voicemail. Is this a good sign? Less than 5 inquires on each report.
