Hopefully some thime this week my membership to Navy FCU will be approved and once it is I plan to app for their cards after i either get denied or approved (lol) . I plan to go into the garden as i dont really need any New cards but id like to get some good ones and sock drawer these that dont serve me really well but i figured since i gotta garden for 2 years to get below the 5/24 rule I might as well burn a HP just to check and see if i luck up and get one of the cards i want .
So Im asking what you guys think my chances are of getting approved Scores all around 720 Inquires TU 4 EQ 19 EX 7 New Account last year about 7 (3) just last week UTI is 5%
Cards i want
1. NFCU Rewards i think my chance is 50/50 based on reading DP
2. Best buy Card im 90% sure will be declined .. Applied for it 2 years ago was denined it Citi DC but was they gave me a Home depot with 1k .. Asked for a CLI and got 5k total now
3. have a DCU card with 2k limit @17% gonna ask for 10k and rewards card think im 50/50 on this

6. Barclay card ... I burned barclay a few years ago I did pay off the collections agent but they are the only baddie still on my report and refuse GW letters im 99.9% sure this one will be declined should i even app

8. Cap1 Sav too be honest i doubt ill do this one as i have a QS1 they refuse to give me any love on in last 2 years
So whats do you guys think i should app for and my chances before i head back into Garden
my main goal is to get NFCU DCU and Bestbuy cards
another question i have walmart and pay pal store cards i do use since they tied to the online shopping account but pay in full is it even worth it to apply for the MC card versions will they merge the CL's if not i think im happy with what i got
Got a Amazon Store card with 10k would love the visa but im 110% sure i would not get that lol
Let me make sure I understand this - you added 3 new cards in the last week and you want to go on an app spree. Is that correct?
Why are you applying for cards that you believe you'll always certainly be declined?
Update i went to Cap1 site and did the pre Qual its says i Pre Qual for the Savor Savor1 and QS1

didnt say i was said i was thinking about apping I added 2 cards both were thru my local Credit unions when i moved my auto loans to them for a lower rate Also the BBT card was soft pull it just showed up
Only one of cards ive apped for in the past is the /Best Buy card and i want one for the finace promotions and want to get my foot in door at navy
OP, IMHO, I think you should go to the garden now! You have done your spree and was successful. May I ask the reason for wanting to continue applying for credit cards?
Mostly to replace the high interest junk cards like my QS card that BBVA card since they refuse to fix my auto pay issue I dont want my Avi credit to go lower so would like better cards i got alot yea but they serve a purpose even thou i can afford to pay cash for the big purchases if i can stick it on a card for 12 months 0% that money will gain more in my MM account as i pay it off in payments
As i said those were cards im looking into only ones i want is a BB card since they have those offers all the time Credit Union cards due to low interest
Here’s my advice — freeze your reports and head to the garden while you’re still ahead. When you have to start listing percentages for your odds of approval, it’s time to garden.
If you don’t feel like you’ll be approved, certainly don’t apply for these cards. Also, if you just got 3 new accounts in the last week, now may not be the time for any additional credit seeking. With the cards you currently have, just pay in full if at all possible, and then the interest rate doesn’t matter. I know the mindset of “who cares? I already have a ton of inquiries so I’ll just keep going.” I have had that attitude in the past lol but you will regret it after a few denials.
Good luck!
How do you have 19 inquiries for Equifax? Applied too much???
