Just to provide input, I can confirm its possible to get a Comenity Visa with BK on record as I obtained a Sportsmans Guide Visa with a BK on my report.
It's a little weird, because it was actually a BK7 shown as discharged about 3 years ago. I don't actually have a BK 7 as mine was a BK 13, but somehow it got reported incorrectly to EQ. I haven't bothered changing it because its my highest score, over 700. Was around 660 when I was approved for Sportsmans Guide Visa and got a $2,500SL, it has grown quickly to $7,400.
That being said, I've read a lot on how Orbitz is it's own beast and has totally different criteria. So, I wouldn't draw too many comparisons. Just wanted to provide my experience with a Comenity Visa.

So the sportsman visa pulss EQ? Thanks for reply
They can pull EQ or EX for Sportsman Guide and SP either CR. Recent approval (and denial) threads confirm either or. Make sure your CRs are thawed before you apply.
I can confirm EQ for me.
If you are asking me, it was a HP.
Link for what? The card? If so: https://www.sportsmansguide.com/club/creditcardapply
I can say, of all the cards I have, this is one that is least useful to me. Some have reported they get awesome balance transfer offers with Comenity Visa cards, but no such for me. Not that I care that much, I don't tend to carry balances and if I do, its for only a couple months, usually on a card that already has 0% at the time.
Not that it's a bad card, and I was super grateful for the approval at the time, it was a big deal to me. So, in that regard, I like the card.
AS @FinStar eluded two and i did earlier have all CRAs unfroozen as they HP either EQ or EXP and soft pull the other so unless you want to waste a HP have all unfroozen or will be an automatic denial with no course of recon..
