It is more your current CL than AAoA *I* think that would be the concern for Chase... You did just throw an interesting twist into the equation.. Its believed that Chase does have a little value to relationship banking BUT.. they are still two separate depts and unless your running higher levels of money through Chase.. it doesn't help all that much.. Sometimes it is the difference between an approval with a 500$ CL which will take a LONG time to grow if at all... Still think the current plan is better than trying for a CSP now... I can attest to Chase limits DONT GROW unless your ready for some HPs.. and you dont want unnecessary HPS at this point.. A lot of folks, if possible DONT take an HP for Chase. and rather just become eligible for a new card and them move the CL around......

With your score, you can apply for a PPMC at any time and most likely get it. Your Disco cl has no bearing on your PPMC app.Actually, I gotten one of the red/key factors from Synchrony Bank and one thing that is listed is "Not enough available credit on revolving accounts"
Okay u just raised up my anxiety level , thank you This is one of reasons why I decided to hold off from Chase even thou I really wanted the CFU, thinking I would have an easier time with Sych
Yeah ... I got no clue on what Synchrony Bank really want to see for a CL on the revolving accounts. For me, I applied with I have $1,500 on my report but one card hasn't been updated (yet) on the $1.2k increase.
I got no idea what Synchrony Bank would declare is the min on not getting that factor. I hope that it's $5k across all revolving account, but then again, I got no clue what the min could be.
Disco increases are SP, so you can technically ask whenever you want. No harm in trying again when you want, but you may or may not get one. The PPMC is by Sync, and those cards do grow fast with good use so I wouldn’t worry about strategizing/timing too much. Good luck!
Don't believe the hype, Chase doesn't care that you have a checking with them. They don't care that you have other products with them. Consider each app to be standalone, cause that's what they're gonna do unless you have big money with them. The only exception is if you screw them. Then they'll never let you live that down.

If that's the case then my cap 1 QS would give me major problems. Started out a secured plat, after credit steps to 500. So I guess I lucked out when they auto increased me $1000 after 9 months of heavy use & 5x the payments on 9/18. Back in March asked for cli & got 150, bringing total to 1651
I know its going to be pain to even get it to @ least 3000 much less 5k, that's why the PPMC will most likely be its replacement & once I get a CSP, cap 1 is as good as SD'ed. I have no interest in apping for another cap 1 card for better SL, even thou I'm prequaled for the Savor, Savor 1 & a quicksilver. And not to knock cap 1 too much, since I do appreciate them stating my credit journey, but that's as far as the love is going to go

I would try and see if you can poke Discover to get over 5k and see if Cap1 will budge before applying. If they don't budge, I probably wouldn't sweat it. You may slide by for having 5k in combination.
