Do co-branded Cap1 cards count toward the 1/6 rule?

I recently got the GM Buypower card, and now I’m wondering if I would be able to apply for another Cap1 card or if I have to wait until 6 months elapse. Any experience with this? Have you recently been able to get more than one Cap1 card in less than 6 months?

Just FYI, I am prequalified for the card I want according to the Capital One prequal site, but I don’t know if that takes recent apps into account.

Thanks!

UPDATE: Evidently co-branded cards do NOT count. I was approved for the Venture card within two weeks of getting the GM card.
