Sorry to keep bumping this thread up but it's been 4 days since I applied and still no alerts of an inquiry on EQ so not sure what's going on
Another note I was denied for the Venture earlier this month so I decided to use that to get my EQ report. I see a PRM from Discover done on 4/29 and I guess they based the invitation off of that.

Is it possible they pulled another bureau? When I app'd for Discover they pulled TU for me, but I know many get EQ and/or EX pulled.

They've always pulled EQ for me, no alerts for the other two bureaus either.

Hmm. That is strange then. Maybe give it a few more days to see if a HP ever shows up, and if it doesn't then good for you

That may be the only positive thing out of this whole ordeal.
Another update!
I received the denial letter in the mail and it had a joint application which I clearly stated to the rep that I wasn't interested in doing that. Now the application reference number on the letter doesn't even match the reference number I get when I check the online app status site. The app status just tells me more information is needed and I need to call. When I call they just tell me my app was declined. Shouldn't that be mention on the check status website in the first place. Whole process has been weird.

What were the denial reasons in the letter?

What were the denial reasons in the letter?
Letter has three reasons listed
Excessive number of recent credit bureau inquiries
Excessive number of credit bureau inquiries in the last 6 month
Insuffecient credit history
Never got hit with a HP inquiry

Well that's the silver lining here
