It shows up with a Month / date approved and then your member since year date
it will report with trade line of your first amex card or at least it should.
Back to original question i am waiting for 2016 and going to attempt for SPG then. I am going to try and stay off amex and chase radar till 2016 at least.

That's my confusion. How will it report? It won't report as a new TL?
only if your credit report is being manually reviewed by another lender will they see that it is a new TL because there will be no activity before you got approved but it will show as opened from the month you apply and whatever year your other Amex were obtained.

same here 72...the Hilton Surpass would go great with my Citi Reserve...just got approved for 2 amex revolvers in November. I just closed my BCP today so i know i could have one more...LOL
My last Amex card was also approved in November and the big reason this card keeps coming to my mind is that I saw a link on another website for a very sweet sign up offer. If PRG's benefits hadn't been watered down the way they had, I'd be more likely to consider that card as well. The AF on that is waived anyway, so I dunno. I wanna see what happens when I'm able to get two backdated cards at one time.
l hear ya...i always keep telling myself well if its denied no harm done (only a SP) but how about if i do get luck and get approved? then there goes another HP on EX and i have 30 at the moment.
I have 29 at the moment on that report and one HP of mine turned two years old last month so it should be completely off my report in a week or two. My EQ and TU files have a lot less though.

yeah...my EX get abused here in NV by major banks. I have 3 on TU and 6 on EQ...go figure.
Gotcha. Thank you guys for the clarification
I just got the BCP a couple of weeks ago. I decided it didn't matter for me to wait until January since my MSD is 1994 anyway...
Again, I thought I was bad with 12 EX INQ..

Got my first AmEx on 12/26... Delta Gold.
8 of those INQs were between 2012 and 2013. Ugh. I'm only 4 points away from having a 700s score on that EX file BTW but on the flip side, my score never really goes down either.
