Has anyone tried for the bbva optimizer????

I don't think my scores are high enough for the NBA Amex but I noticed the optimized for for rebuilding on their site.  I'm wondering if anyone gave that card a chance.

Re: Has anyone tried for the bbva optimizer????

I saw in another thread they were approving people with 630's and higher for the NBA Amex, so you actually might stand a chance to get it.

How many baddies do you have? AAoA? current utilization?

It depens on what they pull.  My Transunion is in pretty good shape with an old HSBC  C/O falling off next month.  I have a ways to go on Ex and EQ.  I wonder who their pulling.

edit for spelling

Oh I don't want a secured card.  My Experian and Equifax have some baddies that will be falling off between now and September.

As Creditaddict mentioned, the Optimizer is a secured card.  It appears to have somewhat of a decent varaible APR (16.24%) but also comes with an AF ($40).  This could be an alternative to other secured products in the market.  What is not stated in their T&C is whether it would unsecure at some point.

I didn't even noticed it was secured.  I'm not in the market for a secured card but it could be a good option.  I thought this was their regular starter card.
