One other thing, you are worrying about your scores and you are at 2%  utilization and you say it’s going to be  0% when you get paid.   You might need to let something report, 1% at least , to maximize your score.

Doesn't need to be "as soon as possible", just any time before the next annual fee gets charged.  And even then, it only "needs" to be closed if the OP is concerned about paying the annual fee - for some people, it may be worth paying the AF to keep the AAoA higher for a while.


A closed account still factors in to aaoa so no need to keep a card for that reason.

Don't cancel it, it'll still stay on your account. Just do some more reading on here about store cards and how to build credit and everything will be okay!

Also agree with others saying to cancel your Credit One card. No reason to keep that around and pay an AF now that you have other lines of credit available to you.
