We will be closing on our home in the next month and trying to decide what cards to app for both me and my DH. Utilization will also be paid down again this month so should see another score jump.
My scores are below - less than 4 inquiries on each report (3 are mortgage pulls). Income is $78,500 - Utilization is around 23%.
I have one credit card - Capital One - $3,300 and AU user on three of his. He has Capital One Journey $1500, Capital One $1500, and credit one $550 (closing after mortgage). He has a credit union card with $1,000 CL.
DH - Transunion (4 inquires (3 mortgage) and Equifax (7 inquiries (4mortgage)
680 - Equifax
706 - TransUnion
695 - Experian
Cards considering are: Chances? Recommendations? Which ones pull certain reports? We are in Texas. Other cards? Also want to add Lowe's because we are doing some renovations. Help ! Completely lost on what we will qualify for.
