Hey guys,
I didn't see anything on this yet, but the Hilton HHonors Surpass is having their highest point value intro offer yet. 80,000 points for $3,000 in three months.
These can either be of very little use vianone night at an expensive room (for which the Citi Card and it's 2 free nights would be far better) or stretched out to weeks which is great for someone like me that doesn't care about the room but more about just having a place to sleep.
Apped today myself and was livid when Amex showed a 1k CL until I called and they informed me it was only the immediate CL and that I was approved for 8.6k which will all be available when I activate my card.
They also expediated the card without being asked.

This offer end at the end of the month.
If this has been posted and I just missed it, please feel free to lock and delete.
Didn't know it was ending, got my 80k points the first week I got the card lol. That's interesting that it showed a 1k limit because when I did mine it showed the full limit.

Going to disagree with you here. You have to look at categories as you would the Marriott or Ritz points. Some locations can be 8k a night for a nice room while others up to 40k a night.
The Orlando Hilton is about 20k points a night, allowing for a four day stay. The points are very subjective to location and can go very far or be worth nothing.
Thats kinda what my first reply was suggesting is that it all depends on the location of the hotel you are planning on staying at..
