So I saw https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Chase-Freedom-Unlimited-new-offer/td-p/6091659 and tempted me to apply However, COVID makes me think my chances at approval are very slim.
For me right now both cards are over a year old. I did open a Amazon sync card which I only kept open for 3 months and then closed due to really not liking it and Sync shutting accounts down but did collect a SUB on it. Not sure if Chase perhaps would take this into question as sub chasing.
With that all said tho after a year it becomes a duplicate 1.5% CB card.
Mid 700s scores.
Honesty, It seems to be trusting my gut and figuring it will be a instant denial is the best course here.
Any thoughts

Well, score is nice. Any chance if you mark on your report? What is your income?

Nothing negative on my report if that's what your asking. By Mid 700s it's around 730s to be exact. Very low util as well.
I shoud have included my income is low living at home but my costs are also low. Under 20k right now sadly. Another possible reason for a denial. No other debit obligations at all.

You might still have a shot at approval. When I applied for my Chase cards back in 2017, my income was under 20k as a student. Wasn't instant as I got the 30 day message but I called Chase, verified my identity and BOOM! Approved .
the best piece of info i got from myfico was to check the "my offers' section of the chase app. check the pricing and terms part of any credit card offered as like a prequal on that page, if the apr is a set% you are most likely approved. if it is a apr range% it's a pass for me, doesn't mean you won't get it but a fixed number for the apr is a very good sign.
Just wanted to add that this offer is on the Freedom card as well if you're worried about duplicating 1.5% CB cards. IMO, Freedom will have at least one category a year everyone can get a lot of use out. Always good to have a 5% card.
If you ever plan on using URs as well, the Freedom Unlimited becomes a lot better than a 1.5% card too, so it may provide more long term value in that sense if it makes sense for you too.
