So, I’m thinking...Penfed’s Platinum VISA which gives me 5 pts per $1 for gas and I like US Banks Cash+ which is beneficial since I use Uber/Lyft daily and that falls into the 5% category.
Just remember that PenFed's points have been devalued, so 5x points does not equal 5% anymore. You actually get about 4.2% for gas purchases... and the redemptions are a bit complicated.
You could consider the Sears card, Sams Club MC, or Ducks Unlimited for 5% on gas also.

So I have the itch to add another card to my wallet. I use my CC for dining, gas, online shopping and Uber on a daily basis. Before I duplicate a card like I did with the chase unlimited and quicksilver(currently in the sock drawer) which are both 1.5% cash back I’m hoping someone can chime in on which card I should consider. My unlimited is my primary card, freedom is out of the question since I was denied couple months back.I was about to suggest CSR so your freedom unlimited's earning becomes 2.25%... but... why were you denied for freedom? Did you open all your card in the last 24 months?
If you are under 5/24, consider a simple 2% reward card, citi DC, paypal MC. Then SD both freedom and QS.
I thought the CSR’s earning was 1.5%? Their 50,000 points are valued at $750. Am I doing the math wrong?
Just out of curiosity - since you’re on the precipice of 3 pulls in 3 days....was your US Bank $1k approval instant?
Typically, and for the most part, their approvals are manual. Instead of another inquiry, may I suggest you call UW for a manual recon? You may get better results and a more impressive SL going this route before looking to another lender for an additional card.
