Hey guys, you know on occasion i smash luv buttons. Did a round on my Sync cards recently thought i would share the denial reasons on my Paypal MC.

1) Change of indebtness on non-mortgage accounts ( yeah, helping out sisters all the time hurts)

2) Too many bancard balance shifts in recent months ( yeah playing the bt game 1 too many timesSmiley Wink )

3) Recency of max aggregate bankcard balance over the last year ( no clue)

4) too many inquiries ( yeah, im a true MFerSmiley Wink)

Credit score 729 as of July 18th. See i told ya, scores are meaningless lol. Just wanted to share some nice dps not stating insufficient experience. Good day y'allSmiley Wink

Reviving this thread!  I keep getting rejected by Synch for basically the same reasons.  Does anyone know what AJC's reason #3 means?  I get that one too, but I haven't used more than 6% of my TCL.

Re: Interesting Synchrony Denial letter

I would take it to mean that they've decided at some point in recent (?) history your total amount owed is higher than they're comfortable with.

Interesting that they'd have to be taking historical or trending data into consideration for all of the reasons listed for rejection.

Re: Interesting Synchrony Denial letter

If they were willing to deny me online without sending a snail mail letter, I'd ask daily.

Thanks Remmy. @Anonymous, i think i have 5 cards at 10k or more through Sync.

So I tried for an increase on my Sync-Amazon card recently too.  Got my denial letter listing:

"Requested credit line exceeds the amount of increase our policy allows."

Currently at $10k as well.  I think I requested for $4k more.

Re: Interesting Synchrony Denial letter

Yeah with my income and exposure im not even going to try for more on Amazon . My spend just doesnt warrant more than 10k lol. Plus, for me, Amazon is one of the harder cards to grow from SyncSmiley Wink
