I see a lot of posts about Navy Federal Credit Union and would love to get back in. The back story is that I had a NFCU credit card and loan back in the 2006. I ended up filing for Chapter 13 and the loan and card were included. They got something from the trustee but not much. I think it was about $10,000. Does anyone know how forgiving they are? Or would I be blacklisted for life? Just curious.
Life until PIF.
NFCU will not extend any credit products to you untill you make them 100% whole again.
^^^^^ What they said 👆🏽. I was once kicked out the club, but they let me back in after I paid every red cent owed.

Penfed is a good credit union. I see you have 2 of their cards, just stick with them.

@SUPERSQUID, yes, I am very happy with PenFed so I'll leave NFCU alone. No use poking that bear.

It was beautifully explained. Really nothing more to add.
