Jovia Credit Card App- Pending Status

Just submitted my app (pre-approved up to $20k).  Now, sitting in "Pending" status with a 3 business day message.    

Because I apped on a weekend, or is this more likely a decline?

Thoughts?

Well yes it's weekend, not best time at apply .

Could go either way. I have seen approved after pending, denied and also approved then declined .

I applied the 15th late night. Just received  email this morning 10/22. Was preapproved for up to 40k. Got 15k approved with 12.75 I believe. So preapproval up to limit is just that. I had called during to time I had applied and was in pending status. Said it had to be viewed by underwriting. I do have over 300k in TCL. So possibly that had something to do with the lower offer.
