Kohls CLI Wow I Feel Dumb.

So I hit the button to ask for a credit limit increase while I was on their site. Came back with the denial 7-10 day response and I was suprised as my scores are good, income reasonable, no baddies, and util under 5%. Today I got the letter. I'm at the max credit line they offer. Ooops feeling really dumb.

Awe don't feel dumb OP. What is your current CL?

Generally, the high end "soft" max is $3K, but there are folks who are capped at $4K.

On some of my cards i still hit the button, even tho for the last

multiple times I get the same reason letter.

My c/l with Kohl's is $5k & has been for about 2 years, give or take. I also know several others with a 5k c/l.

I recently got the same response to my CLI request from Kohl's.  My CL is $3k.  Maybe they will change that one day in the future.

Wait! Kohls max credit limit is $4000 for "anyone"??? Am I reading this right?
