I know this is a wierd request but I'm looing for two or three credit cards that will pull creidt reports from either experian or equifax. Long story short is that I never established credit outside of student loans after I almost filed banlruptcy eight years ago. I Paid my credit cards off, cut them up and paid for everything in cash including a vehicles. Obviously my credit was rock bottom. In order to build my credit I was placed as an authorized user on two credit cards and an automitve services card. These cards are going away. I have my own cards now as well as two car loans, and my scores are 687(EQ), 706(TU) and 694(EX). My inquries are high on Transunion (10), and lower on Equifax (4) and experian (2). I would like to add three credit cards (or at least two) but prefer only those that will only pull Equifax or Experian. If there is one that give 0% interest on balance transfers even better. Thanks for any advice.
Amex for experian. Chase I think exp or eq or both.
I've got 4 Chase pulls on my TU and 5 on EX. Citi, perhaps? I only see them on EX and EQ. Discover was EQ for me, but I think I've hear others say it is TU.
AMEX is always EX for me.
Cap1 is definitely out with the triple pull. I see Barclays on my TU as well.
Bofa will pull EX
FNBO pulls EX for Amex Co-branded and EQ for some of their other in house cards.
Amex pulls EX
If you already have Amex. It could be a SP for another card through them.
BBVA Compass pulls EX or TU
Chase is known to pull all three. Just depends on your location.
Capital One all three at once.
Citi pulls EQ and EX.
Penfed EQ
Navy Fed EQ
SDFCU EX
XCEL-FCU EX
Blispay EX
NASA -FCU EX
Alliant FCU EQ
Discover EX
Synchrony in-store Lowes pulls EX/ on-line app pulls TU
Bingo. Just got a BofA card. Now I need one more. What would you suggest?
Amex, Blispay or Citi. Check prequal for Citi and Amex. If you're an AU for Amex. They already know you. Lol
Blispay is a great 6 months no interest, no payments, 2% Cash back card.
Bingo! Amex. Can anyone suggest a store card?
I wouldn't bother with a store card in your situation. I'd look at Citi, personally. Have you checked the prequalifier? You've already got the Citi Costco, so I'd bet you're a shoe in for the Double Cash. EDIT: Diamond Preferred has a good BT offer, if you're looking for one to use responsibly.
You could also look at US Bank, but I'm not sure who they pull. A google search would probably answer that.
