Why would I want to stop there? There's a volcano erupting.

don't quote me on this but i think an lot of airlines let you stop over for long periods at their home base. For example my plan for big trip to bkk was korea air from JFK-ICN stay over two night use UR points to stay at park hyatt Seoul, then continue from ICN-BKK. I think they allow 30 days stop over, i need to do more research to verify thats possible.

it's one of those places that you must visit to see in person, so pretty especially during summer time. and this is coming from anti-outdoor person. when the volcano thing dies down, definitely pay a visit, and who knows you might even see aurora borealis in the winter.

well... my relatives live in korea, so I won't need any hotel, and probably end up being the final destination
