Re: Master Amazon Visa Thread/Data Points

Sorry wash, the only time ive ever apped for a Chase was for the amazon over a year ago and was denied due to bk. Wont make that mistake again with Chase. This is a tempting card to get a card other than Citi or Synch but for now my Disco and Sync cover my Amazon needs.

Thanks wash, for that very important data point for all of us Bk'rs. I was just going to ask that question if anyone with a recent bk got approved. Mine was discharged at the end of Dec 2014 so i guess i will hold of on this, thanks again and sorry for the denial.

Exposure with Chase around 40k prior to approval.. Not a ton, not little either.  Baddies and pulled EQ my worst CRA.  Also Amazon I havent seen anything higher than 9500 approval. More around 5k this go around with good credit and income.  I suppose if I applied for say the IHG would probably get a 15-20k approval as I don't think I am against their limit yet.  Weird as got the best APR assuming that is based on my CARS score (chase risk score internal) as been a card holder two plus years and run 15k-20k a year through with them and pay a few hefty af's aka Ritz/CSP which is now csr).  Guessing based on my income I might have another 20-30k on the bone with them if I push it.
