NFCU AMEX Question

Good evening all. Question..... who does Navy Federal pull for their Amex card. I recently received their rewards card with a 20k limit but I REALLY want an AMEX card with them. Transunion fico8 776 Inq:4 and no derogatories. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

You can always request a product change. Depending on how long it's been since being approved you might be able to still do it by contacting them and requesting your current card be converted to a Amex

How "recent"?

Navy will not approve another card until that one is over 3 months and has had had 3 statements (referred to as 3/91 on the forum).

NFCU always pulls Transunion, and I have the More Rewards AMEX as well-it is a fantastic card.

Navy has been using TU9 for awhile now on card apps.

Also, depending how recently you were approved, you would have to wait 91 days and 3 statements to app for your next card.

Same thing happened to me I applied for one card then saw they had the Amex. I called them and they product changed it over the phone no problem. I think you can do it within 30 days after you are approved. All their cards us the same underwriting except the Flagship. So if you are approved for any card then that means you have been approved for all of them except the Flagship
