NFCU CC Denial

I got my checking acct opened and the rep asked if i wanted to apply for their Platnium Card so i gave it a try. Got a denial. My Util is high  and high on Inq due to getting me a new car and co signing for my daughter a new car. I haven't got my denial letter yet. Any ideas as to why?

Could be the UTIL, recent BK, just barely in the 600 scores or any combination thereof. From what I understand I dont believe they are too INQ sensitive. Hopefully one of our in house NFCU experts will chime in. I CAN tell you that NFCU is a fantastic institution and worth sticking with so don't give up.

Sorry to hear.  NFCU is often lenient when it comes to people with BK applying.  Your high utilization was the likely cause.  If I were, I'd get util. down and then give it at least six months and then try again.
