I just had my 3rd statement cut for my NFCU Platinum MC. It's 3 days before it'll hit 90 days, but I am curious if any member around here had asked for their CLI earlier then the 90 days with 3 statements cut or not? Not that I can't wait for 3 days, but I will admit that the itch is there to attempt and push the button. The only issue of course is that I wouldn't want to screw up my odds to then get the CLI eventually after the 90 days.

Yup ive hit early , got 3 letters as Navy never responds if its not instant approval. Itll say too new account. I understand the itch all too well but September is upon us. Best of luck on getting your cli

In my opinion, I'd just wait...it's only few more days...  Good luck to you though...hopefully you'll have positive results!

Wait til 92 days and pull the trigger . I did and got a new card and a decent cli

Also is it good to have a $0 balance when asking for the CLI?

I had a balance of 550 on a 1000 card alot of negs lot of inqs low income they increased me to 3500 plus another card 2000

Got it! I'll probably pay it down to $0 just cause I have the money put back in savings to pay it off in full as I have been the last 3 months.
