That would've been a 14K increase which I wasn't expecting, they ended up giving my an 8K increase which was more than I actually expected so now my Cash Rewards is up to 19,000.
Not bad for a card that started at $1,000 in April 2020.
Very cool MR 0.
. I Think often some worry too much on sl with Navy when show me another lender where 16,000 a year is possible in cli sinply by requesting it
Slightly OT .. Lowe's ? .. $7K-$35K in less than a month.
Yeah but im talking about every 6 months , twice a year continuously until youve reached max. Sync can give a big increase but not everyone gets them with Sync as much as Navy and Lowes maxes out at 35k which in many cases can be got in one request.
I just refer to Navys amazing cli process. If im eligible and i get a 1k sl, i could theoretically achieve a 50k line in 3 years, basing off 8k max , not even considering other Navy cards like FS in the mix. Sure Amex is great in that aspect but again many dont see the exponential growth like one can see with Navy.
Anyway lol, im sure my point can be steered another direction in support of other lenders but my message really is Navy Rocks
Is there a best way to do the 95/3 new card/cli thing?
I have read its wise to apply for card number 2 and then ask for a cli on card number one.
What is the proper criteria?
Apply for card number 2 and then wait a day or two to ask for a cli on card number 1?

@SUPERSQUID, I would apply for card #2 first, wait for approval or denial .. then ask for CLI on 1st card.

Yes you can do both in one day.
Hi, all
I do have a bit of a technical question. I applied for CLI increase, however, the site crashed when I submitted the request and I got kicked out. Can anyone tell me if you receive any kind of email or confirmation from NFCU after submitting a request for CLI? I do not want to do it twice.
Thanks!

No confirmation. Just do it again. If you are eligble for an approval they will approve. No penalty to ask twice in a day .
