@ocheosa ..Thank you for posting about the CARES act.
I helped someone file last night, so they could get financial help.
A lot of people are unaware of this.
More people should research this.
Don't mean to be off topic here.

@M_Smart007 I would argue if it helps just one, it's worth going off topic. Thank you for helping your friend apply. My first career was in the pharma industry so I can read through the lines much easier than most. This thing is not going to end quickly or without a lot more damage. Most important is to stay home and away from others whether you think they are sick or not. Research disinfecting mail/deliveries before bringing into the home as well. This article is an easy read to get started. The disease carriers and lack of information are our greatest enemy in a pandemic. Be Safe Folks !!

Hello
I searched and I couldnt find whether balance transfer from navy federal has the option to send yourself a check besides sending a check to cover another card's balance. My student loans are private and I dont get the option for 6 months no interest. So I want send myself a check to pay them.

Unless something has recently changed there's no way to get cash directly from NFCU using the BT promo.
That said, NFCU should be able to do a balance transfer to your student loan(s) just like any other loan account or credit card. As long as you have an account number and a payment address it should be easy.
Thank you for the info!
Hello All,
Just to update... I did a CLI a month ago on my CR card limit is at 19.4 k and was denied for max exposure. I also have a Platinum card limit at 3K So I had nothing to lose on trying for the 500.00. I asked for 7k just to see if they would go higher. Approved this morning now my Platinum card is 3500. It's a little but I'm okay with that.
Recently laid off because of this craziness but staying upbeat! Thank goodness hubbie still has his job!
