This back and forth isn't accomplishing anything.  Whatever reason someone applied for a card is meaningless except to them.  Let's move on from this.

so annoyed!!!! they said call to verify! then i did! ...then i get another email to verify so im like wth man! they said you will recieve a letter within 7-10 days! ok that means denied! then i talked to like 5 reps, 1 said i was denied because of a security fraud i have on my file1 then the manager said no decision has been reached yet! im just soooo over this card man!

Exactly!  The right hand is not talkig to the left hand. I think they need to revamp their internal credit card processes.  They could potentially lose alot of new customers by giving out incorrect answers. They need a lesson from American Express.

exactly balboa! i got so frustrated i just said withdraw my application! I talked to different people and they all said different things. the manager kept putting me on hold, to talk to underwriting, but yet there was no decision made? its liek tell me approved or denied! stop collecting my information, or give me credit!!

What in the world is so good about this NBA card? I don't see it at all.

If it doesn't fit your portfolio, then you won't see any need for it.  Period.  Just because some folks are able to find a niche with their spend for this card, doesn't mean it's a bad product.  So, "if you don't see it", move along.  Not sure on the reasoning why others went for it, but I had my reasons and will fit just fine with my spend and its categories, especially as an NBA fan.

my reasoning is legit but i dont know how to feel about this card anymore! they are very disorganized! i am a bulls season ticket holder , so this card will offer me some nice perks! but the way they are going about it, i should of applied with somebody else!

Re: OFFCIAL BBVA DENIAL THREAD

I've had a very similar negative experience after the initial instant "we'll let you know"!

No decision

However, I've checked both Ex & Eq, no SPs or HPs???

Trust me, I'm sure your logic in going for the BBVA card had its reasons.  I'm kind of surprised in the outcome though.  So, when was the last time you spoke with their U/W department?  Did they say something along the lines of your application still being processed or did they say it was denied?  I'm assuming none of your CRs were frozen.

Received my denial letter. Frozen Experian. Hahaha!! Oh well. I won't re-apply. It was an impulse app anyways and not strategic.
