Re: Ok I apped for the Marriott Rewards today!

So I called the Chase automated status check line and it says I have two recent applications. The first says it's under review and they will notify me in writing within two weeks. The second app says it is under review and they will notify me within 7-10 days. Your thoughts? No more calls to Chase, patience lol. I wonder if they monitor how many times you call the automated line? 7-10 days for same verification or most likely denial on second app?

I think you should stop calling and wait it out. Find something else to occupy your time. Best of luck!

I totally agree, thanks! It's going to be in the mid 80's here in So Cal, so down to the beach for a nice lunch with my wife. It is what it is...

Re: Ok I apped for the Marriott Rewards today!

I called automated line today and robo lady now says my app that was notify in writing in two weeks, is now 7-10 days. So now both apps are 7-10 days. Doesn't look good. My question is, should I call an analyst now or continue to let it ride and see what happens and not call?

What a pain, geez. It must either be additional verification or denial. Why wouldn't they just say denial instead of changing the auto response?

Re: Ok I apped for the Marriott Rewards today!

Got a verification letter today. I called number on letter, said I had faxed necessary documents over last week, she said (rather incoherently) that they didnt have them and wanted to transfer me to lending and to hold please. After everything I have read on here, I hung up. Now what?
