PSA: Goldman Sachs / AppleCard HP ChexSystems

To all existing and aspiring AppleCard owners be aware that Goldman Sachs is pulling your ChexSystems report. While doing some routine CRA checking I noticed GS pulled my ChexSystems report in relation to my application and approval. Whether or not this DP may be the cause of approval "Issues" for many is unknown currently but im sure it factors into the process. If you havent pulled your CS report recently I suggest you do and take a look. If you have some bumps in there, you may want to address them.

I think I had seen this happen before with some members. So, you pulled your ChexSystems report and you're seeing a GS inquiry?  I know they've pulled CoreLogic in the past.

I had a Chex pull for my initial application but haven't received another for the subsequent and multiple CLI's requested since then.

Same here - checked when I first applied in 2019.

3 CLI later and nothing on ChexSystems and no HP.

Good to know. In all the approval and denial posts (fairly recent), didn't read any mention of CS. Only TU. Many only associate CS with CU membership or deposit account apps, not CCs.

Read alot of approvals ppl freeze their chexs then get approved initially denied due to most likely a baddy on their chexs.  Cant talk about freezing one of the 3 majors on here, but chexs freezing is fair game as far as i know with legal.
