PenFed LOC decline overturned.

Applied today for a Personal Line of Credit from PenFed, requested the $25,000 people have suggested to see what they would counter offer. The system took several minutes before displaying a Declined. Decline reasons "Due to Bankruptcy". I called in to PenFed immediately and asked if there was anything that could be done. The member service rep put me on hold for about 8-10 minutes and came back on the phone and asked if I would accept a counter offer. I replied yes that I didn't necessary need the $25k for my home improvement project. She put me back on hold for another few minutes and said the loan officer approved my application for $10,000.

Woo Hoo! 5 months in with them and I am already starting to feel like a member. Can't wait to see the increase on my Visa Siggy in about a month when I hit 6 months with them.
