I find this interesting. PenFed sent me a pre approval letter last month for a Power Cash Rewards card. I have lates from 2019, 90 day lates on student loans almost 5 years ago. I applied, approved for $4500. Equifax score was 708. In July when account is 6 months old, I'm going apply for a credit line increase and try to get card upgraded to Visa Signature.
