Penfed -Offer sections - New card pre approval or CLI with existing card

Its been 17 months i opened up the penfed relationship. Auto loan, checking a/c, OD, CC account.

Last week i saw the offers section which said there is one offer available. either a new card app for $1100 pre-approved or ask for CLI on existing card.

I dont want any new a/c for now.

I thought of taking the existing card CLI offer. but unfortunately in online, it doesnt show my existing card for that offer to continue(this may be because they stopped the PENFED 5% gas cash back card from their products).

If i call the CSR and wish to take the CLI, will that be an HP or SP?

I believe if its in your personal offers it should be sp.

Very disappointed I have not receive any pre-approval offers from PenFed.

Me either and my next gen keeps going reverse direction from my actual credit but ive just learned to put PF on the backburner and concentrate on lenders who want to grow with me. Id happily give up a couple cards for some penfed luv but such is life

To be fair, I've only been with them for little over a week, just got my Power Cash in mail today. :-)

Lol, touche good sir. Yeah, 1 week isnt enough time for them to respond to a sm let alone get personal offers. I have a feeling youll get them oldman87, just give it a couple months

Not sure I can wait that long, my plan was to hit my bonus spending tonight with a mortgage payment and smash the luv button tomorrow. LOL

I haven't post anything about PENFED because I am very upset (pi$$ed) at penfed because they pulled my credit 3 times yes 3 HPS in one MONTH. Let say I done the same as you did for right now besides one of their cards has a balance transfer on it but last month I paid $750.00 on it and hope  to have the rest paid off in a couple months then I don't know what I will do. I do have a 15K and a 5.5K cards with them but they really made me UPSET. I love my BOA

If I remember the advice I got a couple of weeks ago right, I should try asking for the first CLI on my new PCR late next month around this time, and if that doesn't work, wait to see if any CLI offers pop up in the next quarterly offers.
