Pressed Capital One LUV button...

DENIED!

Document states my account isn't eligible at this time because my credit score is too low. They pulled a 645 EQ.

Just sent the EO an e-mail and I will let you guys know the results.

I will be requesting a $10k limit on my QS1. I hope they counter with at least $5k and then I will ask to get upgraded to QS w/o the annual fee. My 12th statement cuts tonight.

Better than getting the "watch for a message" in 2-3 days and yet I never get a message.

That's what I got when I pressed it. A "document" shows up later with an explanation. You can find them by changing tabs on the page where you view your statements.

Re: Pressed Capital One LUV button...

Thanks. I kept going to messages and alerts. Now I see 5 of them..lol. All say the same thing, not using enough of credit line. I am now, spending like crazy on it..maybe in 6 weeks or so. That was driving me nuts.

Re: Pressed Capital One LUV button...

I received the 2-3 days wait and they denied! The reason was I just received a credit line increase recently. It was two months ago!! Smiley Tongue

Nonetheless, I will re-apply in three months to see how much loving I get from them! Smiley Happy

You'll need to wait 6 months after your last CLI. I confirmed that with a CSR when I got my last CLI online.

Re: Pressed Capital One LUV button...

Been denied too recently because I asked for a CLI in the past 3 months so I went to the EO and they're working on something for me, overriding the system and seeing what they can do. I requested an increase to $6k.

The limit is in my signature. It's 1.5k right now and my last CLI was six months ago and that was a Credit Steps increase from $500. I just think it would help me if my limit was a bit higher than it is now so I wanted them to match some of my other limits. I'd be satisfied with something like 3.5k or somewhere around that too. It's one of my oldest cards.

Just a follow up. The EO called me this afternoon and I requested what I said I would above. So everything is under a manual review and I will be looking online periodically to see if there's a CLI. She did say even if they can't convert the account, they would be crediting the annual fee. That $39 credit is already showing online. Fingers crossed for a nice bump!
